Resilience in Action: XTOP 3D Guarantees Uninterrupted Support & Delivery Amid Xi'an Challenges

Date:2025-03-27

In the ancient capital of Xi'an, a sudden outbreak of an imported variant silenced the city's usual bustle. On December 23, 2021, authorities issued a notice to further tighten epidemic prevention and control measures: restaurants closed, residential compounds were placed under lockdown, and mass nucleic acid testing began. With empty streets, the entire city was suddenly brought to a standstill.

Xi'an is the birthplace of XTOP3D; the core founding team originated from the 3D Optical Measurement Group at Xi'an Jiaotong University. With the company's R&D center and Northwest regional sales office both located in the Xi'an High-tech Zone, the city remains a vital operational hub for XTOP3D.

When the sudden outbreak of the pandemic brought Xi'an to a standstill, XTOP3D responded promptly to government directives by arranging for Xi'an-based staff to work from home while submitting daily health declarations. Simultaneously, the IT department upgraded the online office automation (OA) system to meet the requirements of remote and mobile work.

Amidst the pandemic, employees at the Xi'an R&D center remained composed and united in overcoming these challenges. They maintained communication through video conferencing, WeChat, and DingTalk to conduct project reviews, deliveries, and online training, while focusing on internal capacity building to ensure the orderly progress of all projects. XTOP3D’s Shenzhen headquarters and offices across the country provided full support; teams in Beijing, Shanghai, Kunshan, and Chengdu actively coordinated efforts to ensure that on-site technical exchanges in the Northwest region continued uninterrupted and project deliveries remained unaffected.

Amidst the COVID-19 outbreak in Xi'an—occurring right at the turn of the year—engineers and technical staff from XTOP3D’s Shenzhen headquarters and its offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Kunshan, Changchun, Qingdao, Chengdu, and Chongqing remained hard at work on the front lines serving clients. While ensuring normal product delivery in the Northwest region and bringing a successful close to 2021, they were kept incredibly busy with on-site technical demonstrations, deliveries, training sessions, project bidding, industry exhibitions and conferences, and client visits. They are truly the most admirable figures amidst the challenges of the pandemic.
