Company introduction

XTOP3D is an industrial subsidiary of "Orbbec", a company listed on the Science and Technology Innovation Board. It is committed to the research of 3D optical measurement and inspection technology, the application development of measurement equipment and the provision of technical solutions. XTOP3D is headquartered in Xi'an, with branches in Shenzhen and Beijing, and offices in Shanghai, Suzhou, Guangzhou, Nanjing, Fuzhou, Shenyang and other places.


The core members of XTOP3D are all members of the original 3D optical measurement research team of Xi'an Jiaotong University. They have long been devoted to the basic research and application research of 3D optical measurement. The team has formulated the first national standard in the field of 3D optical measurement. The project technology won the second prize of the National Technological Invention Award and the first prize of the Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology Award. Many of its products fill the domestic gap and become the only domestic supplier.


With the goal of "becoming a globally influential 3D optical measurement and testing instrument and solution provider", XTOP3D has independently developed and launched more than ten optical measurement products including XTDIC 3D full-field strain measurement and analysis system, XTOM 3D optical scanning measurement system, Tube Qualify 3D optical bending tube measurement system, and XTDP 3D optical photogrammetry system. Its customers include many well-known domestic and foreign companies, universities and scientific research institutions including the Fortune 500. At present, it has been successfully applied to automobile manufacturing, consumer electronics, aerospace, heavy machinery, medical and other industries, and its applications cover more than 10 disciplines such as machinery, materials, mechanics, and civil engineering.

    Dr. Zhengzong Tang

    Graduated from Xi'an Jiaotong University, a well-known 3D optical measurement expert in China.


    He started to engage in optical measurement research in 2005. As the main person in charge, he presided over and participated in many national, provincial and enterprise scientific research projects: he presided over 1 national major instrument special sub-project, 1 provincial major scientific and technological innovation project, participated in 2 National Natural Science Foundation projects, 1 national 863 project, and 3 provincial scientific research projects. In 2011, he participated in the formulation of the first domestic standard in the field of optical measurement, "Optical Three-Dimensional Geometric Quantity Detection Specification for Forged Parts and Their Dies".


    He has won the first prize of Shaanxi Science and Technology;

    The first prize of Shaanxi Higher Education Science and Technology;

    The champion of Shaanxi University Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in 2016 and the gold medal of the national finals;

    Selected as the 2016 Shaanxi Science and Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Talent;

    Shaanxi Youth Science and Technology Star in 2017 and Shaanxi "Special Support Plan" Talent in 2018;

    XTOP3D has a first-class R&D team in China. The core members are all members of the original 3D optical measurement research team of Xi'an Jiaotong University. XTOP3D responds to the national strategy and bravely shoulders the responsibility and obligations of the times. The company's headquarters moved back to Shaanxi, fully benefiting from the regional talent advantages, close to the application scenarios, taking root in the hard technology capital at the starting point of the Belt and Road Initiative, standing at a new starting point and embarking on a new journey.

2019~2022

Many a little makes a mickle


From 2019 to 2022, we concentrate on basic development and application research, continuously innovate in product development, and pioneered the domestic bending tube inspection system and X-INSPECT three-dimensional inspection and analysis software, committed to solving the "bottleneck" problem, and successively launched new products in sub-sectors such as three-dimensional micro-strain and video extensometer. The product serialization, marketization and business system construction have been basically completed and are ready to go.

2018

In 2018, it reorganized with Orbbec, a leading company in the field of AI 3D sensing, and established XTOP3D Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. in Shenzhen.

2014~2017

Great accumulation leads to great success


In 2014, it obtained the national "software enterprise" and Xi'an private technology enterprise certification;

XTOP3D Launch


In 2013, the team started business in the university and established XTOP3D Optical Measurement Co., Ltd. In the same year, the optical measurement series technology won the second prize of the National Technological Invention Award.

Inspirational


After years of research and development and exploration, the optical measurement team of the Mould Institute of Xi'an Jiaotong University has won one first prize from the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education and one first prize in Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology Progress for its series of technologies. The team has also formulated the first national standard in the field of three-dimensional optical measurement.
