Determination of forming limit curve of FLC material
The XTDIC-FLC Sheet Metal Forming Limit Measurement System, based on digital image correlation technology, is designed for use with sheet metal forming and cupping testing machines. The system automatically captures a sequence of video images of sheet metal deformation during cupping testing. Using techniques such as grid strain analysis and digital image correlation, the system directly determines the limiting strain and generates the FLC limit curve. This makes it an indispensable tool for determining a material's forming limit curve.
