On October 17–18, the 2019 Greater Bay Area International Science and Technology Innovation Summit (BATi) was held at the JW Marriott Hotel Shenzhen Qianhai OCT. During the event, the list of "Outstanding Young Entrepreneurs of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area" (honoring the region's achievements over the past 70 years) was unveiled. Tang Zhengzong, founder and CEO of XTOP3D—a leading domestic enterprise in 3D industrial inspection—was named to the list of innovators, becoming the sole representative selected from the field of 3D optical inspection.

In 2021, the situation regarding COVID-19 prevention and control remained severe.
